Ducky!! Held hostage for several hours!

On the morning of the 31st of May Ducky was held hostage for several hours at the Rory Gallagher festival against his will by a boy who enjoys wearing toliet paper scarves. The festival is held annualy in the small town of Ballyshannon, Co Donegal. Gardai believe a sizeable amount of drink was involved in the incident but are yet to convict the boy who has claims that him and ducky are close pals. They appear quite friendly in this photograph however ducky was diagnosed with stockholm syndrome after the incident. Anyone with information involving this incident or perhaps any other strange goings-on in the town between the 30/05 - 01/06 are urged to come forward and give a statement. Ducky thankfully is alive and well and recovering at home.

They say that no idea is original, well ducky must have been laying low in part of my sub-concious for some time! Look what I stumbled across on youtube, I used to love this show and I used to love Ernie even more so I guess this is where my inspiration came from. When people ask me why a duck from now on I'll know

First day back at the ranch after another weekend of roadtrippin'. Too many festivals too little time! Managed to get to Galway to the stage of the ocean race and then on to the the Rory Gallagher festival in Ballyshannon, both of which were epic!

Obama Land!

Check out ducky hanging out in Moneygall Co. Offaly, the midlands of Ireland. Never heard of it I hear you say? Well it's now famous for being home to President Obama's Irish cousins and here they are posing with the duck himself!

What the Duck?

Beer money of course! Can't wait to celebrate my thesis being done. Back to the cave (AKA CM102, Henry Grattan building, DCU.) for another serious day at editing sniff. In fairness I did kinda took the bank holiday off so I can't really complain but doing a radio thesis, after hearing someone's voice over and over you never want to hear it ever again. Bring on Friday!
